Eheim powerLED Marine Actinic strips are perfect for illuminating reef and marine aquariums. These LED's consume 30 % less energy than efficient T5 fluorescent tubes and their service life is 150 % longer. Can be used with powerLED Marine Hybrid in reef and marine setups. Running power: 25.9w, Overall length: 953mm, for aquariums up to: 953mm-1133mm long, Light colour: pure actinic 25000k, Rated light Flux: 268lm, Beam angle: 120€, Energy efficiency class D. Average life: 50,000 hours (13-14 years at 10 hours per day). Power supply not included. GG591 Eheim Power Supply 100w is recommended.
Features of powerLED:
• The LEDs consume 30 % less energy than efficient T5 fluorescent tubes and their service life is 150 % longer. (Comparison: T5 = 85 lm/W; LED = 120 lm/W),
• Features of the Eheim powerLED Actinic 11w include, pure actinic light (25000 K), uses a specific spectrum (400-500nm) to promote absorption of chlorophyll, and amplifies natural fluorescence of corals and invertebrates which makes it ideal for reef aquariums with both corals and invertebrates.
• This light can also be combined with the Eheim powerLED Hybrid light units.
• Full depth lighting (even in deep aquariums), specially designed spectrums and combined light colours for corals,
• They can be adapted to fit most aquariums: extending brackets allow the lights to be adjusted to the aquarium width,
• All fluorescent tubes can be replaced with powerLED using the correct adapter,
• The light unit is made from high-quality solid aluminium (anodized) is marine-waterproof (to German standard DIN 8149-1),
• Includes threaded holes in the top housing for securing screws or hooks for any desired location (e.g. to attach to a cover or to suspend) and the highly efficient intelligent power supply units provide only the actual output needed (12 V); this saves energy,
• Comes complete with extending brackets for mounting directly on the top of aquariums, (For alternative installation, T5/T8 adapters, suspension wires and mounting brackets are available separately.)
