Acid pond water can be caused by a high level of organic waste - soft water with low pH out of your tap excessive use of rain water. When your test kit shows your water is too acid this product adjusts the pH to keep it in the "safe range" for a pond between 6.5 and 8.0. (pH must be stable within this range).
