Bubble Magus Bio Pellet Reactor BP100 is a multi-purpose, sump-use, filter media reactor. It can be used with many different types of filter medias including carbon, pellets, and resins. Pump included.
Similar in many ways to a fluidised bed filter, the Bubble Magus Bio Pellet Reactor can be used with filter medias that are either static or those that can/need to be kept moving. These include ammonia, nitrate and phosphate removers, carbons, and biological medias.
Its small spacing saving design, complete with an energy efficient pump, draws water from below and creates an upward flow water movement towards the top of the reactor and exits out at the top.
Maintenance is easy, simply remove the 4 thumb screws at the base or on the lid.
There are 3 ways to use this reactor:
• Carbon reactor: Leave sponge and bottom plate.
• Granular Ferric Oxide reactor: Remove bottom sponge only.
• Bio Pellet reactor: Remove bottom plate, bottom sponge, and top sponge.
Suitability:
• Any aquarium with a sump-type filter.
• For use in Freshwater and Marine aquariums.
All aquariums are different, (stock loading, conditions etc) so for aquarium size it will depend on how much of a particular media you wish to use.
