A coarse mechanical filter media that can be used in any type of filter, but needs to be combined with a finer type of filter floss to be most effective.
Ideally placed between EHFIMECH on the bottom and the subsequent biological or chemical filter layers. It traps debris which has passed through the previous layer and acts as a divider.
Can be washed out and used several times.
Ehfifix is also ideal for use in overflow chambers.
