Fish often carry a small population of skin and gill parasites.
When fish are stressed, this population will rapidly increase.Interpet No.7 Slime and Velvet will eradicate Oodinium and flukes as well as protozoan parasites.
For use in coldwater, marine and tropical freshwater systems.
Harmless to plant, filters and all species of fish except Mormyrids (Elephant nose fish)
Symptoms of Slime and Velvet Disease:
- Flicking and rubbing against objects
- Rapid gill movement
- Hanging close to the surface of the water
- Red, irritated area of the skin
- Opaque, white/grey patches of slime
- Dusting of gold/yellow spots (1mm)
- Velvet appearance
One 100 ml bottle will treat a 500 Litre tank for seven days
