RP Aquatics Ammonia Block
RP Ammonia Block ROUND PODS are a unique Aquatic application manufactured by RP Aquatics.
The PODS unique round design allows unrestricted flow within the canister filter which is vital for the Bacteria Population.
RP Ammonia Block is a unique premium-grade ammonia removal media.
PURPOSE:
RP Ammonia Block eradicates poisonous ammonia infinitely quicker than any other product on the market. New aquariums can be stocked immediately without the fear of an ammonia spike or losing fish. Simply add the correct number of PODS to your canister filter and allow your filter to mature naturally over the next 12 weeks.
Each pack contains 3 x 100g pods, sufficient for up to 800 litres of water.

SUITABILITY:
- Remove pods whilst using fish disease treatments in the same way you would with carbon.
- In mature aquariums or for problem cases (spikes) it is recommended that you clean the filter before installing the pods.
- Can be used in conjunction with RP Nitrate Remover.
- Suitable for Tropical, Marine and Coldwater.
SYTEMS:
- For use in external canister filters and some internal filters such as those fitted in Juwel aquariums.
- RP Ammonia Block MUST be placed flat and not squashed up, (to maximise exposure to water flow) after biological and carbon filter to function correctly. The position of the pods is critical and if used in the wrong part of the filter they could cause a crash as the bacteria could be starved (RP Ammonia Block is that good at doing what it does it would remove the food source for the filter bacteria and stop it generating).
- When used with RP Nitrate Remover, RP Ammonia Block must be placed before RP Nitrate Remover. This will ensure that you get clear and algae free water.
APPLICATION:
- 1 pod for 0-200 litres
- 2 pods for 200-500 litres
- 3 pods for 500-800 litres
