RP Aquatic Nitrate Remover
RP Nitrate Remover ROUND PODS are a unique Aquatic application manufactured by RP Aquatics.
The PODS unique round design allows unrestricted flow within the canister filter which is vital for the Bacteria Population.
RP Nitrate Remover is a premium-grade, NITRATE selective, ion-exchange resin. It removes Nitrite, NITRATE and traces of Phosphate quickly and safely from aquarium water.
PURPOSE:
Nitrate Remover helps reduce nuisance algae by starving it of its primary food source, nitrate. It uses a premium grade ion exchange resin which works in a wide range of pH parameters and temperature conditions.
Each pack contains 3x 100g pods, sufficient for up to 350 litres of water.

SUITABILITY:
- Great for heavily stocked or over stocked aquariums.
- In new aquariums, add after 2 to 3 weeks.
- Removal of Nitrite & Nitrate spikes.
- Can be used with RP Ammonia Block.
- Suitable for Tropical, Marine and Coldwater.
SYSTEMS:
- For use in external canister filters and some internal filters such as those fitted in Juwel aquariums.
- RP Nitrate Remover MUST be placed flat and not squashed up, (to maximise exposure to water flow) after biological and carbon filter to function correctly.
- When used with RP Ammonia Block, Nitrate Remover must be placed after RP Ammonia Block. This will ensure the correct functionality and maximise benefits.
- In mature aquariums it is recommended that you clean the filter before installing the pods.
APPLICATION:
- 1 pod for 0 - 150 litres.
- 2 pods for 150 - 250 litres.
- 3 pods for 250 - 350 litres.
