This Terracotta Reptile Calcium Sand is a calcium-rich, colourful substrate for desert reptiles that replicates their habitat.

- Safe when inadvertently eaten

- Good conductor of heat, ideal for using heat mats underneath to allow warmth into the enclosure

Suitable for desert reptiles like: bearded dragons, snakes, desert tortoises, uromastyx lizards, geckos, scorpions, and other desert reptiles.
Directions:
- Spread the substrate evenly over the bottom of the enclosure to a depth of at least 1-2" (2.5-5cm).
- Spot-clean daily and completely replace every two or three weeks, or more frequently if it becomes heavily soiled or wet.
- Lightly spray small areas of the substrate to provide local humidity control, but avoid making the substrate too wet.
