On the other hand, if you want to use the Evolution Aqua VariPump as an external pump for ponds and filters, you'll need to prime it first before setting it up for regular use.
How do I clean the Evolution Aqua VariPump?
It's super-easy to clean any of the pond pumps within the Evolution Aqua VariPump range. Simply detach the filter basket and give it a good scrub in a bucket of pond water. Every couple of months you should also open up the impeller housing while the filter basket is off and give it a clean in the same pond water as the filter basket while taking care to protect the brittle ceramic shaft at its core.
